• MSc (Chemistry)/M.Tech/M.Pharm degree or equivalent with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grades.
• 5% relaxation in minimum marks are allowed for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS candidates.
• Candidates with a valid CSIR/UGC-JRF/NET-LS/ NET-PhD/GATE/GPAT and INSPIRE fellowship will be exempted from the University PhD entrance examination.
• Eligible applicants without a valid CSIR/UGC-JRF/ NET-LS/NET-PhD/GATE/GPAT and INSPIRE fellowship will be selected through a written exam followed by an interview.

• Only complete applications submitted via the online Ph.D. application portal before the deadline is considered. Applicants are expected to provide the following documents as part of their application.
• A short write-up (maximum two pages) of research interests, research training, motivation to carry out the Ph.D. programme in Chemical Sciences at Soban Singh Jeena University.
• Latest CV, which contains educational qualification, experiences (if any), skills, and contact details of at least two referees.
• Minimum one letter of recommendation from the referees is to be emailed directly to phd.chemistry@ssju.ac.in in .pdf or .doc format.

• Eligible candidates will be shortlisted based on their academic qualifications and application.
• Shortlisted candidates may be required to appear for a written examination and/or interview as prescribed by the University.
• Final selection will be based on the University's applicable admission and selection criteria.
